In SB Nation's Week 14 NFL Power Rankings, Joel Thorman ranked the Cleveland Browns at No. 25 overall, which for the second straight week bumps them up to a new high. The Browns have won two games in a row for the first time since early last season, and they have a chance to make it three in a row with a win over the Chiefs. Here's what Joel said about the Browns this week:
25. Cleveland Browns (LW: 28, 4-8): The Browns can end the season on a high note. They've won four of seven and their next two are winnable.
Here is how the rest of the AFC North fared in the rankings:
Baltimore: No. 6 (down from No. 4)
Pittsburgh: No. 10 (push from No. 10)
Cincinnati: No. 12 (up from No. 13)
Cleveland: No. 25 (up from No. 28)
As the Browns' ranking increases, they will also pick later in the draft. Is that something fans are willing to accept in exchange for a strong finish to the season? The Steelers came up with a huge win this week to keep their playoff, and even division, hopes alive, as did the Bengals.
