Cleveland Browns:
- "Mayock thinks the Browns should jump at chance to trade up and take RG3" (Plain Dealer) - Just in case you missed our previous post, here's the article on Mayock's RG3 comments.
- "Outsiders: AFC North offseason needs" (AFC North Blog) - Football Outsiders takes a look at the holes facing the AFC North teams. They claim the Browns' need is running back. Sigh.
- "Keeping tabs on quarterback Ryan Tannehill" (NFL Nation Blog) - This is a brief update on Ryan Tannehill, how his foot is coming along, and the prospect of him coming to the Browns.
- "McLeish at Cleveland Browns as Villa fights drop" (AP via Yahoo! Sports) - Apparently, Browns owner Randy Lerner thinks Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish can learn a lot from... Pat Shurmur.
NFL:
- "Mayock: Luck is great, but not a 'once in a lifetime' prospect" (PFT) - This is a not an entirely new perspective on Luck, but it's probably in the minority. It makes me think even higher of RG3.
- "Mayock: Alshon Jeffery not worth a first-round pick" (PFT) - In the second part of the PFT Mayock coverage double header, Mayock doesn't believe Alshon Jeffery is worth a first round pick.
- "Jaworski no longer part of MNF broadcast; calls move bittersweet" (SI.com) - I'm not a huge fan of very many announcing crews, but MNF was the exception. I'm disappointed to see him go.
- "McClain: Without discount, Mario is unaffordable" (Ultimate Texans) - Let's hope that Mario is more interested in our money (that is, if we're willing to offer it) than staying in Houston for a lot less.
