There were many fans who were not pleased with how the Cleveland Browns front office handled free agency, as they only managed to sign a couple of defensive linemen and a few of their players from last year.
We saw some outrageous contracts handed out over the past few days, such as (in my opinion) wide receiver Pierre Garcon getting $42.5 million over 5 years from the Washington Redskins, or the Tampa Bay Buccaneers overpaying for cornerback Eric Wright, who did not do a whole lot to impress last year in the Detroit Lions' abysmal defense.
My question to you is this: looking at all of the deals that were made, what is the one contract/free agent that you looked at and thought, "Wow, at that rate, the Browns should have definitely tried to acquire that player."?
To generate some more unique responses, do not include Peyton Hillis or Mike Adams in your line of thinking; stick with players who were not members of the Browns last season. Also, only include players who have already signed with another team; do not include players who are still free agents.
Note: if you don't know the specifics of a player's contract, just do a Google search and you should be able to find some information about it.
