This is a continuation of our first open draft thread from earlier today. Please use this thread instead of the previous one. I also ask that you not post pictures in this one. If you do, they will be removed in order to improve loading and scrolling times for everyone trying to access the thread.
It is Day 1 of the 2012 NFL Draft. Today begins a three-day stretch in which we will see just how much offense the front office goes with, having three pretty high draft picks in their weaponry.
Only the first round of the draft will take place today, and it is scheduled to start at 8:00 PM EST. Teams will have a maximum of ten minutes to make their selections. In 2011, the first round lasted 3 hours and 30 minutes. If you hope to watch the entire first round, you should expect it to be over around 11:30 PM EST.
The Browns have the No. 4 and No. 22 overall picks in the first round at the moment. Use this open thread to talk about anything related to the draft today; another thread will be posted at 7:00 PM EST, with additional threads being posted if the number of comments exceeds a certain limit. Here is your draft primer again with all the links from our coverage this year.
