The NFL announced the preseason games that are set to take place this year. Although the exact dates and times for most games are not yet known, here is what the league revealed for the Cleveland Browns:
- Preseason Week 1 (August 9-13, 2012): Cleveland Browns vs. Detroit Lions

Preseason Week 2 (August 16-20, 2012): Cleveland Browns vs. Green Bay Packers
- Preseason Week 3 (August 23-26, 2012): Philadelphia Eagles vs. Cleveland Browns
- Preseason Week 4 (August 29-30, 2012): Chicago Bears vs. Cleveland Browns
This year's Hall of Fame game will feature the Arizona Cardinals taking on the New Orleans Saints (minus head coach Sean Payton, among others). Last year's Hall of Fame game was cancelled due to the lockout, but all other games were still played.
If this year's preseason schedule looks familiar, it should: the Browns faced the same exact group of opponents in last year's preseason. So much for mixing things up a bit, eh?
