ESPN's First-and-10 With Brandon Weeden: Favorite Video Game, and Draft Day Reaction

ESPN has been busy posting a few light-hearted interviews they conducted a couple of weeks ago at the Rookie Premiere. Yesterday, they posted their question-and-answer session with Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden. One of the questions was, "what is your favorite video game?" Can you guess what his response was?

Mario Kart. Awesome. Now, if he specifically means the Super Nintendo version of Mario Kart, that would make it even more awesome.

We know what left tackle Joe Thomas was doing when he was drafted by the Browns years ago. No one can be as cool as Thomas, but here is how Weeden spent his draft day:

What was the NFL draft like for you?

It was crazy. I was out in New York for the draft, and that morning, I wanted to spend with my family. Had a little get-together, and [Browns GM Tom Heckert] called me at the 20th pick and told me they were picking me at 22. There were a lot of emotions. My parents’ house went crazy. We had a lot of fun that night. I didn’t sleep much that night.

I do find it slightly interesting that Weeden said he was called at the 20th pick. At the 20th pick, the Titans were still on the clock, and Kendall Wright was supposedly Cleveland's guy if he were available at No. 22. It makes more sense if Weeden meant he was called right after the 20th pick came in, but I guess it's not really a big deal, is it?
