Week 4 NFL Open Thread (for Browns Fans)

Mitch Stringer-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

It is Week 4 in the NFL, but there isn't a Cleveland Browns game to look forward to today; Cleveland already played this past Thursday in a losing effort to the Baltimore Ravens. There are plenty of games to look forward to today if you are just a football fan in general, though. One big side story today is that you'll get to see the regular officials in all of the games, hence the lead-in picture.

Check out my Week 4 NFL picks column to see what games are taking place today. This week's edition of The Sunday Five has also been posted, which highlights reasons to be optimistic that the Browns can rebound from their 0-4 start. The Steelers are on the bye this week (along with the Colts), so the only division game today has the Bengals taking on the Jaguars. Blaine Gabbert is pretty bad, so I don't have much hope in them pulling out a win unless Maurice Jones-Drew goes off.

Feel free to discuss any last-minute fantasy changes, too! This open thread will probably serve the morning and afternoon games, and then we'll open up another thread for Sunday Night Football.
