Who is ready for some FOOTBALL?

The NFL regular season kicks off tonight when the Dallas Cowboys take on the defending Super Bowl Champions, the New York Giants, in a heated divisional match-up. While the Giants finished last season on fire, they seem to scuffle under head coach Tom Coughlin in the earlier parts of the year. The Cowboys are a tough team to read too, as Tony Romo can either make some highlight reel plays, or he can toss the ball behind the line of scrimmage as the half is ending, giving the opposition a free touchdown.

My pick is for the defending champions to come on strong and take game number one. The reason? Eli Manning. He was in such a groove last season that I think things have finally clicked for the younger Manning. Use this as an open thread to talk about the first game of the 2012 NFL season!
