The suspensions of Will Smith, Jonathan Vilma, Anthony Hargrove and Scott Fujita have been overturned.

What this means right now is that those players will be allowed to play in week one. Of course, Vilma is injured and Hargrove is without a team, but you get what I am saying.

This story is far from done, the punishment is being handed back to Roger Goodell to try again.

Here is a quick statement for Greg Aiello from the NFL:

"Consistent with the panel’s decision, Commissioner Goodell will, as directed, make an expedited determination of the discipline imposed for violating the league’s pay-for-performance/bounty rule. Until that determination is made, the four players are reinstated and eligible to play starting this weekend."

That noise you just heard is the stampede of people claiming Brent Celek in fantasy football for this weekend.

Hat tip to SB.

Anyone else ready for bounty-gate to die? Seriously, go away. Extra words.
