This post will summarize which positions have been filled to date, and which positions we are projecting to still be available (some coaches opt not to fill every position -- for example, Norv Turner will also serve as the team's quarterbacks coach).

The primary roles that the Browns definitely need to field include a running backs coach and a linebackers coach. There is a chance that a few other assistants, such as an assistant special teams coach or assistant strength and conditioning coach, could come on board. Roberts' role is unclear right now, but he'll be a defensive assistant of some sort and will reportedly start work on Monday.
Last year's running backs coach, Gary Brown, has not been hired elsewhere, but is unlikely to return. Billy Davis has been the Browns' linebackers coach for the past two years. Funny enough, he was actually the Cardinals' defensive coordinator from 2009-2010 before being fired in favor of...Ray Horton. It seems unlikely that he'll remain with the Browns, and there are rumblings that the Eagles are interested in making him their defensive coordinator.
