The Browns got a field goal to start the second quarter, but it was only set up by a big punt return by Travis Benjamin and a 15-yard personal foul flag on the Bills' defense. That made it 10-3 Bills. After the defense forced a punt, Brandon Weeden finally started completing a couple of passes, and a Willis McGahee run got them down in the red zone. Then, after a lot of plays being run in that territory, McGahee punched it in the end zone on 3rd-and-goal from the one yard line to tie it up at 10-10.
Then, after the defense forced another three-and-out, Benjamin set the stadium on fire again with a 79-yard punt return for a touchdown. Just like that, Cleveland had 17 unanswered points and a 17-10 lead. That's where we stand heading into the third quarter, when Buffalo will get the ball first.
