The map below lists the games that will air on FOX at the 1:00 PM EST time slot (coming from 506sports) this Sunday. Most of Ohio gets the game this week, as does all of the glove part of Michigan, but not too many other places do. Keep in mind that this is Cleveland's first FOX game this season.
Determine based on the map below whether you will get to see the Lions vs. Browns game this week
The Browns game will be commented by Tom McCarthy and Heath Evans. I thought a matchup between the 3-2 Lions and the 3-2 Browns might warrant one of FOX's better announcing teams, but they've stuck us with their Z-crew. I'm not certain, but this might be the first time McCarthy and Evans have ever teamed up to call an NFL game. Hopefully they turn out to be one of those underrated-and-pleasant crews. If you live in the Cleveland area, these are the games you will be able to watch on Sunday:
WEEK 6 NFL GAMES AIRING IN CLEVELAND MARKET ON SUNDAY
- 1:00 PM EST:Detroit Lions vs. Cleveland Browns (FOX)
- 4:05 PM EST: Tennessee Titans vs. Seattle Seahawks (CBS)
- 4:25 PM EST: New Orleans Saints vs. New England Patriots (FOX)
- 8:30 PM EST: Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys (NBC)
The Thursday night game features the New York Giants vs. the Chicago Bears. I don't think many people will be tuning in to see the disastrous Giants. We will have a game thread for that here at Dawgs By Nature.
Here is a tentative, but not complete, list of the TV networks that will air the Lions vs. Browns game, per 506sports:
