Poll: Who Has Been the Best Browns Player So Far?

Back at the end of September, we ran a poll asking who the best player on the Cleveland Browns through four games was. TE Jordan Cameron emerged as the leading vote-getter with 50% of the votes, followed by CB Joe Haden (28%), QB Brian Hoyer (8%), NT Phil Taylor (5%), DE Desmond Bryant (5%), ILB D'Qwell Jackson (3%), and Other (1%). Now that we are ten games into the season, it is time to re-assess who the best player on the team has been.

Once again, I am restricting the poll to just six candidates:

• WR Josh Gordon - 40 catches for 751 yards, 4 TDs in just 8 games played.
• TE Jordan Cameron - 56 catches for 629 yards, 6 TDs, but numbers have faded a bit.
  
• NT Phil Taylor - Instrumental in the Browns allowing 3.55 YPC (3rd best in the NFL).
  
• CB Joe Haden - Shutting down all opposing WRs, 3 INTs, 13 passes defended.
• CB Buster Skrine - Despite being targeted often, Skrine has risen to the challenge.
  
• SS T.J. Ward - Second on team in tackles, effective at run blitzing, good in coverage.

Although the Browns have been very good in the pass rushing department and have many viable contenders for this poll in their front seven, because the production is distributed evenly across a lot of players, it was hard to nominate them for the poll.
