After both teams went three-and-out, QB Jason Campbell moved the Browns to a 4th-and-goal situation from the one yard line. After taking a timeout, head coach Rob Chudzinski decided to go for it.
With pressure up the middle, Campbell lobbed the ball toward the right side of the field at the front of the end zone, and WR Davone Bess snagged the ball between two defenders, giving Cleveland a 7-0 lead. On the Ravens' next drive, they connected on a 51-yard field goal to make it a 7-3 game. Campbell took a blow at the end of the first quarter, and QB Brandon Weeden had to come in. A penalty after a scuffle on WR Greg Little killed the drive, and that's where we stand heading into the second quarter.
