The Browns' offense struck again in the second quarter with another touchdown pass from QB Jason Campbell to WR Davone Bess. This time, it was an ankle-breaking catch-and-run for Bess, who went 20 yards for the score to give Cleveland a 14-3 lead.
After the Browns forced another three-and-out (by sacking Joe Flacco on third down), RB Willis McGahee fumbled on the second play of Cleveland's next offensive drive, setting Baltimore up with good field position. The Browns' defense forced another three-and-out, though, giving the offense the ball back.
Cleveland had to punt right away after not converting a 3rd-and-1, but on Baltimore's next possession, Flacco's bomb down the middle of the field was tipped and intercepted by CB Joe Haden. After another three-and-out, the Ravens got the ball back and looked to be dead in the water with a minute to go in the half...until Flacco found WR Torrey Smith for a 46-yard again, later followed by a 19-yard touchdown pass to WR Marlon Brown. Despite the Browns dominating the first half, they only hold a 14-10 lead at the half. Baltimore will get the ball first in the third quarter.
