After the Browns' defense forced a punt to start the third quarter, the offense got their first touchdown of the game on a surprising catch-and-run for 40 yards by tight end Gary Barnidge. The two-point try was no good, so Cleveland's lead was just 12-0.
The Browns' defense took Rob Gronkowski out on a nasty hit by T.J. Ward, and then Tom Brady fumbled on their next play. The Browns took more time off the clock, and New England finally got points -- a field goal -- on their next drive to make it a 12-3 game.
Just when I thought the third quarter was going to end, Jason Campbell connected with Josh Gordon for an 80-yard touchdown! But then, the Patriots responded with a couple of big completions to running back Shane Vereen and then scored with a quick draw play to cut the lead to 19-9, and a successful two-point conversion made it a 19-11 game. Can Cleveland hang on and stun the Patriots?
