The Cleveland Browns have waived FS Eric Hagg today, after the young defensive back began 2012 as a starter. Adam Caplan of TheSidelineView.com first reported the news, and has since been confirmed by multiple sources.

Make of the move what you will, could be they're clearing a roster spot for a new safety to come into the fold, or they're expressing further confidence in Tashaun Gipson.
