Colin Kaepernick Creates a Stir Due to Miami Hat; Comparable to Cleveland Browns' Situation

After the Miami Heat won the NBA Finals, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon and defensive tackle Phil Taylor drew some heat when they began trolling Cleveland fans on Twitter. Recently, a somewhat similar situation happened with San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Here is a tweet/photo from our Dolphins affiliate that shows Kaepernick wearing a Miami Dolphins hat:

At this point, there is really no issue -- hey, support whoever you want, just like we were fine with Gordon or Taylor supporting the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals. Just like Gordon and Taylor, though, the issue came when they responded to fans who began criticizing them -- when you make a response, you're just opening the floodgates a lot more "hate mail" to fly your way:
