Browns Will Be Split Up at the 2014 Pro Bowl

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Joe Thomas and Alex Mack will both be representing the Cleveland Browns at the Pro Bowl this year, but they will be on seperate teams. Hopefully that is not a sign of things to come. Let's not dwell on that possibility, though: on Tuesday and Wednesday, the first Pro Bowl draft was held. Cleveland has six representatives at the Pro Bowl, and both Team Rice and Team Sanders each have three members of the Browns on them:

Team Rice

  • WR Josh Gordon (1st team)
  • LT Joe Thomas (1st team)
  • CB Joe Haden (1st team)

Team Sanders

  • TE Jordan Cameron (1st team)
  • C Alex Mack (2nd team)
  • SS T.J. Ward (2nd team)

Rice selected Haden, Thomas, and Gordon back-to-back-to-back early in the draft, and each player was the first one chosen at their respective positions. Mack went by default in the weird first day of the draft, where non-important Pro Bowl positions were picked (i.e. they don't do much at the Pro Bowl). Cameron and Ward didn't come off until the end of the draft.

Check out the full Pro Bowl rosters here. The first ever unconferenced Pro Bowl will air Sunday at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
