Which Former Browns Are Playing in the Postseason This Year?

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

With the string of poor seasons the Cleveland Browns have been having, when players become free agents, it seems like they have a decent chance at making the postseason if they head elsewhere. Here is a list of former Browns who made the playoffs this year:

Kansas City Chiefs: LB James-Michael Johnson (2012)*

Indianapolis Colts: RB Trent Richardson (2013)

San Diego Chargers: None

Cincinnati Bengals: QB Josh Johnson (2012), RB Cedric Peerman (2009), TE Alex Smith (2012)*, FS Chris Crocker (2005)

New England Patriots: None

Denver Broncos: FS Mike Adams (2011), C Steve Vallos (2011)

New Orleans Saints: QB Luke McCown (2004), WR Lance Moore (2005), TE Benjamin Watson (2012), DE Kenyon Coleman (2010)*, CB Trevin Wade (2013), K Shayne Graham (2013)

Philadelphia Eagles: LB Phillip Hunt (2009)*

San Francisco 49ers: QB Colt McCoy (2012), S Ray Ventrone (2012), CB Eric Wright (2010), K Phil Dawson (2012)

Green Bay Packers: QB Seneca Wallace (2011)*

Carolina Panthers: QB Derek Anderson (2009), CB James Dockery (2013)*

Seattle Seahawks: TE Kellen Davis (2013), OT Caylin Hauptmann (2013)

*is currently on IR

Out of all those players, the ones who actually see some playing time are Richardson, Crocker, Adams, Moore, Wright, and Dawson. The parenthesis shows the last time the player was a member of the Browns.
