Earlier today, a rather random NFL news account on Twitter made mention of the fact that the Tennessee Titans were shopping WR Justin Hunter in a trade, and that the Cleveland Browns were the interested party. A little bit later, another rumor floated around that the Titans would be targeting RB Isaiah Crowell in the trade.
I wasn't going to mention either rumor until I saw that he was actually brought up in today's news conference with Browns head coach Mike Pettine:
Pettine shot down rumors of #Browns interest in Titans wide receiver Justin Hunter. "That's news to me," he said.

On top of that, Jim Wyatt, who writes for the Tennessean, also shot down the rumor and spelled out just how absurd of a trade it would be for the Titans:
Trading Justin Hunter (34th overall last yr) to Browns for undrafted RB Isaiah Crowell? Really? Now that would be a fireable offense

Hunter has struggled this season, notching just 9 catches for 138 yards through 4 games, but the Titans are in no way looking to give up on him, adds our Titans affiliate. Cleveland travels to Tennessee this week, so let's sweep this rumor under the rug and get ready for gameday.
