Here is a wrap-up of the injury situation for the Cleveland Browns heading into this week's game against the :
- The Browns are going to be banged up defensively this week. At a minimum, DE Phil Taylor and DE Billy Winn have been ruled out, so you can expect additional reps for DE Armonty Bryant, DE John Hughes, and DT Ishmaa'ily Kitchen this week. The Browns could potentially be without DT Ahtyba Rubin, which would be a disaster for the defensive line.
- The other big injuries to watch are OLB Paul Kruger and CB Joe Haden. Regardless of whether Kruger can play or not, head coach Mike Pettine already confirmed that OLB Eric Martin will get some work in. Haden was a limited participant in Friday's practice. I suspect he'll try to take a shot before the game on Sunday to see if he can battle through the pain.
- DBN's Tim Miller talked about what the Browns can do given their injury situation here.
- The Steelers will be without ILB Ryan Shazier and CB Ike Taylor again. They both played against the Browns in Week 1.
