On the Jaguars' opening possession of the second half, they went three-and-out again, capped off with a sack by ILB Karlos Dansby on third down. On the Browns' next possession, facing a third down, the Jaguars got a free blitzer to QB Brian Hoyer, who was ruled as having an "empty hand" on a fumble, putting Jacksonville in field goal range. The defense held the Jaguars there, giving them a 10-6 lead.
Hoyer and the offensive push didn't get much better on the next drive. After nearly being intercepted, the Browns sent Lanning out for yet another punt. The Browns' defense responded by forcing a three-and-out and a punt again, and then the Browns offense responded with another three-and-out. Ugh.
The Jaguars then put their best drive together of the game. Just as it looked like they could slam the door on the Browns, QB Blake Bortles threw an interception to CB Buster Skrine, keeping it at 10-6 Jaguars. The Browns are driving as we head to the final quarter of play.
