Jason Miller

The Raiders received the ball first and were moving the ball on their first possession of the game. Facing a long field goal situation, the Raiders tried a fake field goal that ended in an interception and good field position for the Browns. Two dropped passes by TE Jordan Cameron forced the Browns to settle for a 52-yard field goal, which K Billy Cundiff drilled to give the Browns a 3-0 lead.

Cleveland's defense forced a Raiders punt on their next drive. Cleveland got a boost with a long catch-and-run screen pass to WR Taylor Gabriel, but the running game is going absolutely no where. On the first five carries for RB Ben Tate, each of them have gone for no gain or a loss of yards. The Browns had to settle for a 33-yard field goal, which Cundiff made to give the Browns a 6-0 lead.

After the defense held strong again, the Browns got the ball back, but went three-and-out. They will punt heading into the second quarter of play.
