Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

The Raiders moved the ball to near midfield on their first drive of the second quarter, but the Browns' defense stuffed Oakland's rushing attempt on 3rd-and-short, forcing a punt. The Browns picked up several first downs on their drive, with a big play by TE Jordan Cameron. A flag was thrown on the defense for a hit on a defenseless receiver, giving the Browns the ball inside the ten yard line. Cleveland settled for another field goal, this time from 26 yards, to go up 9-0.

The Raiders put together a drive at the end of the first half. Facing a 3rd-and-5 from the 27 yard line at the two minute warning, QB Derek Carr threw an incomplete pass after a deflection by CB Justin Gilbert. That led to a 46-yard field goal by K Sebastian Janikowski, making it a 9-3 game. After the Browns' offense went no where in the two-minute drill, the Raiders got into field goal range before the end of the half. A 38-yard field goal by Janikowski cut the Browns' lead to 9-6. The Browns will get the ball first to begin the second half.
