Oakland Raiders vs. Cleveland Browns - 4th Quarter Game Thread

Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

The Browns went three-and-out on their first possession of the second half, but Oakland responded with a three-and-out of their own. At this point, the game seemed very familiar to the one against the Jaguars the previous week.

The Raiders were backed up on their next drive and Cleveland forced a punt. WR Travis Benjamin fumbled the punt, but thankfully, OLB Eric Martin recovered it. Cleveland followed that up with a very ugly offensive drive: a botched play that actually led to a completion to WR Miles Austin, a bad run play, a high snap from center, a false start, and then a punt after a third-down dumpoff.

Oakland moved the ball downfield on their next drive and in to field goal range. The Raiders were in position to tie the game or go ahead as we went to the final quarter of play...except SS Donte Whitner laid a lick on RB Darren McFadden, forcing a fumble right into the arms of CB Joe Haden! Cleveland has the ball near midfield heading into the final quarter of play.
