Here is a wrap-up of the injury situation for the Cleveland Browns heading into this week's game against the Houston Texans:
- DE Phil Taylor was placed on injured reserve on Friday and will miss the rest of the year. TE Jordan Cameron and S Johnson Bademosi are still out as they recover from concussions.
- S Tashaun Gipson made the return to practice on Friday in limited fashion. He was not cleared for contact at the time, and was pegged as a game-time decision. On Saturday, he was cleared for contact and upgraded from questionable to probable, so all signs indicate that he will start against the Texans.
- The fact that WR Andrew Hawkins and C Nick McDonald were full participants in Friday's practice is great news. Both are listed as probable and should play.
- Texans starting CB Kareem Jackson has been ruled out. The big news involves RB Arian Foster, who is battling a groin injury. Although he's listed as questionable, a couple of reports have come out saying that he's expected to miss Sunday's game. UPDATE: On Saturday, the Texans downgraded Foster from questionable to OUT.
