Both teams traded punts back and forth, but penalties on Cleveland's offense were the story of losing ground in the field position game...but DE J.J. Watt helped the Browns out with two roughing the punter flags in the same quarter! Cleveland capitalized with a 32-yard touchdown pass from QB Brian Hoyer to WR Andrew Hawkins to tie the game at 7-7.
Hoyer then led Cleveland on another drive, but RB Isaiah Crowell was stripped of the football and Watt recovered. QB Ryan Mallett then operated in the two-minute drill perfectly, capping it off with a 20-yard touchdown pass to TE Garrett Graham. The Texans lead 14-7 going into the half. Cleveland will get the ball first to begin the third quarter.
