Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

The Browns got the ball first to begin the third quarter. After a botched reverse to WR Josh Gordon (which he bailed Cleveland out on by throwing the ball away), QB Brian Hoyer connected with WR Andrew Hawkins on third down in space for a big gain. Down inside the goal line, WR Miles Austin dropped a touchdown, and then on third down, Hoyer took a sack. K Billy Cundiff was sent in and he connected from 32 yards out to give Cleveland the lead again at 16-14.

The Falcons then had a rather awkward sack by QB Matt Ryan on third down in which he basically ran in to OLB Paul Kruger, which set up a punt. Cleveland then proceeded to move the chains with a series of positive plays, both on the ground and through the air. Before the end of the quarter, RB Isaiah Crowell made the play of the game with a back-and-forth cutting run that went for 26 yards and a touchdown! The Browns have a 23-14 lead as we head to the final quarter of play.
