The Ravens received the ball first but went three-and-out after a couple of Baltimore miscues. QB Connor Shaw was moving the offense with ease on his first drive, but on a 2nd-and-8 in field goal range, there was a bad center-quarterback exchange and Baltimore picked up the loose football. Cleveland's defense forced another three-and-out, but Baltimore's punt went out of bounds at the 8 yard line, pinning the offense back.

Cleveland went three-and-out, and Baltimore drove down to the 1 yard line with a fresh set of downs after a pass interference penalty. The Browns' goal line defense held tough, including when the Ravens went for it on fourth down, to deny Baltimore of a score. Cleveland went three-and-out again, but got a good punt to dig themselves out of bad field position. It's 0-0 as we head to the second quarter of play.
