The Browns put together a lengthy drive to open the second half, but finally had a negative rushing play in Baltimore territory to put them in a tough 2nd-and-15 position, followed by a sack on the next play, and then another sack on third down to force a punt and an end to a promising-looking drive (well, by our standards these days).
Cleveland continued holding strong defensively, forcing another punt in a back-and-forth, 3-3 game. QB Connor Shaw found WR Taylor Gabriel after a scramble on the next drive for 49 yards, and RB Terrance West punched it in from 1 yard out on the next play to give the Browns a 10-3 lead. Baltimore moved the ball into field goal range, but a false start and then stingy defense forced Baltimore to pass up on a 56 yard field goal attempt.
Cleveland owns a 10-3 lead heading into the final quarter of the season. Let's go out with a win, Browns fans!
