Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis was on WLW-AM in Cincinnati tonight, and while discussing having to potentially gameplan for Johnny Manziel, Lewis had an interesting comment.
#Bengals HC Lewis to WLW-AM in Cincy about Manziel: "You gotta go defend the offense. You don't defend the player, particularly a midget''

After all the quarterback discussion this afternoon, I'm squarely in the camp that Manziel should start Sunday against the Bengals, but that's still pretty funny. I am, however, also in the camp that you shouldn't give the opposing team you're playing bulletin board material. Lewis clearly just gave Manziel, and the Browns, plenty of bulletin board material.

What do you all make of this, do you think if Manziel is named the starter he'll have a little extra fuel to the fire?
