Reports: Johnny Manziel to Start Sunday

Manziel making his first career start is really starting to pick up steam...

Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY Sports

Mike Pettine addressed the media yesterday, but did not name a starting quarterback for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. He was indirect in response to questions regarding the QB situation.

We're going to meet on that here in the coming hours, and I'm not prepared to comment on that at this point due to the fact that I have not spoken with both of the players involved,

Pettine went on to state that it's at least natural to think about a switch.

It's natural to lean the other way given the results, but we still want to make sure we do our due-diligence and get a chance to talk to everybody involved with it.

After Pettine's press conference yesterday, the media reports were abuzz about the Browns' QB situation. As the day grew longer, more and more speculation poured in regarding Manziel getting the nod.

Further adding fuel to the Manziel fire, Jay Glazer is now reporting that Johnny Manziel will in fact be the starter for Sunday.

So while nothing has been confirmed by Mike Pettine, or the team, it is clear there's some definite momentum for Manziel to make his first start.

What do you all think, is this the right call?
