Every year at the NFL Combine, the majority of teams have a representative who holds a mini press conference. There are a full slate of interviews scheduled for Thursday, February 20, and Friday, February 21, but only a couple of people are speaking on Saturday, February 22. One of those people is Cleveland Browns head coach Mike Pettine, who will be at the podium beginning at 10:15 AM.
That doesn't mean other people from the Browns won't be available for comment. Last year, CEO Joe Banner met with the local media over breakfast in Indianapolis, fielding various questions about the team. We'll see if Ray Farmer takes on a similar group-interview session this year. Last year, the local media also did a good job prying some information out of other coaches. With that in mind, I'll be paying attention to these interviews to see if there are any Browns-related nuggets we can feast on (and the reason why):
-
Thursday (10:30 AM): Ken Whisenhunt - Peter King's report regarding the coaching search.
- Thursday (11:15 AM): Doug Marrone - On losing Pettine to the Browns.
- Thursday (2:45 PM): Rex Ryan - His reaction to Pettine becoming a head coach.
- Friday (1:30 PM): Chuck Pagano - What type of role Chud will serve in Indy.
- Saturday (10:15 AM): Mike Pettine
