Every year, the media tries to release information about who teams have met with at the NFL Combine, Senior Bowl, or East-West Shrine game. Outlined below is a list of players who have reportedly met with the Cleveland Browns, either formally or informally, at the aforementioned events.
Over the next couple of months, more names will filter in due to Pro Day visits and private workouts. Before the draft starts, we will post a comprehensive update of who the Browns have met with prior to the draft.
It should be worth noting that the Browns have likely talked to a lot more players than what you see below -- this is just what the media was able to pry away from people. Teams are allowed to meet with 60 players at the NFL Combine, with a maximum of 15 minutes per player.
Offensive Players
QB James Garoppolo (Eastern Illinois)
QB Jordan Lynch (Northern Illinois)
RB Ka'Deem Carey (Arizona)
WR Sammy Watkins (Clemson)
WR Chandler Jones (San Jose State)
WR Corey "Philly" Brown (Ohio State)
WR Robert Herron (Wyoming)
TE Ted Bolser (Indiana)
OL Jack Mewhort (Ohio State)
OT Donald Hawkins (Texas)
C Travis Swanson (Arkansas State)
Defensive Players

Last year, the Browns didn't end up drafting or signing anybody from our list, although it's fun to look through a few of the notable names they reached out to.
