When the Philadelphia Eagles released WR DeSean Jackson last week, we asked the question, "Should the Browns consider signing him?" The fan response was an overwhelming "no" for the most part -- not because Jackson's not talented, but because they don't want to deal with all of the baggage and negative press he comes with.
Up until this point, the Cleveland Browns have not been one of the teams linked to Jackson. With that in mind, though, it can't be ruled out just yet, as ESPN's Ed Werder says that there are two mystery teams that are in deep negotiations with Jackson:
