Well that sure didn't last very long...Per multiple reports, the Browns have parted ways with QB Vince Young, releasing him today.
The Browns have released DB Brandon Hughes, DL Brian Sanford, QB Alex Tanney, RB Fozzy Whitaker and QB Vince Young.

Young, who signed with the team just 11 days ago, was cut by the Browns just a few days after drafting Johnny Manziel. After cutting Young, as well as fellow backup Alex Tanney, the Browns will be left with QBs: Brian Hoyer, Johnny Manziel, Tyler Thigpen and UDFA signing Connor Shaw.
Must Reads
Matt Wood wrote this morning that the Browns need to lose Brian Hoyer, but it appears that Vince Young is the first QB casualty for the Browns. It seemed unlikely for the Browns to carry that many QBs in camp, so cutting Young isn't all that surprising.
What do you make of the releasing of Young? To me, it's nothing major, I expected the Browns to enter camp with Manziel and Hoyer battling it out, whether everyone was on board or not.
