Former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Greg Little is now a member of the Oakland Raiders, and he was interviewed on SiriusXM Radio earlier today. One of the things he was asked about was the status of WR Josh Gordon. Little and Gordon were supposed to be best buddies, so if nobody else is willing to talk about Gordon's situation, then Little says, "why not?"
"Me and Josh are very close. He's a guy who I talk to multiple times every day. I just got off the phone with him -- he's doing well. He's a guy who is going to work to get back and show that this is a mistake -- it's something that wasn't in his control, so-to-speak.
I don't want to get into too much detail about it, but he's a guy who if you think about it -- all the years they've been throwing the football around [in NFL history], he's the only guy who put together a 200-yard back-to-back game. That alone shows just what kind of talent he has. I applaud the Browns who are sticking by his side."
The picture that Little paints is that Gordon didn't just go out and smoke marijuana for the joy of it -- that doesn't mean that this isn't just another attempt by Gordon to win an appeal process, though. You can listen to the audio from the segment below.
