Football is all good and fun...until you remember that freak injuries can strike at any given time. Fortunately, nothing serious has come out of Cleveland Browns camp, but the big story today was that one of the Cowboys' best defensive players, linebacker Sean Lee, might be out for the season with a torn ACL:
Nothing official from Cowboys, but league sources say Sean Lee told MRI confirms torn ACL in left knee and expected to miss 2014 season

Compounding the bad news for Cowboys fans is this:
Brandon Weeden takes the first team snap at QB not Romo

That is because QB Tony Romo is still recovering from injury, but still -- it has to loom large in the mind of Cowboys fans that they passed on QB Johnny Manziel. If we're compounding things even further, the player who Dallas selected instead of Manziel -- OG Zack Martin -- is the player who reportedly blocked Lee during the OTA session, which led to the torn ACL.
Cowboys pass on Johnny Manziel for Zack Martin. Martin injures Sean Lee in first OTA. Even during the offseason Dallas is great at losing.

The Browns will continue their OTA sessions over the next couple of weeks before their mandatory minicamp begins. Then, it will be a long stretch of dead time until training camp commences in late July.
