The second round of the 2014 NFL Draft will begin in less than an hour. This is a continuation of our live blog / open thread from earlier. You should use the comments section as your NFL Draft open thread! (Newest updates will be at the top of the live blog below)

Browns NFL Draft Live Blog

[THE THIRD ROUND OPEN THREAD HAS SHIFTED HERE]

7:46 PM: Picks are going at a quicker pace now. We knew he wouldn't fall much further, but the thought of Cleveland getting WR Marqise Lee is over: the Jaguars just took him at No. 39 overall.

7:35 PM: I personally would have gone wide receiver at No. 35 overall, but I'm not having a fit about it. My mind was content on a WR or OG. Given the deepness of the receiver class, we could benefit more by getting a starting caliber guard in round two and a starting caliber receiver in round three.

7:32 PM: Our post on Cleveland taking Bitonio at No. 35 overall is here. The Raiders then selected QB Derek Carr at No. 36 overall. We won't be updating the live blog with too many of the actual picks moving forward. When the Browns are closer to being on the clock, we'll monitor player availability again.

7:25 PM: The Browns went with OT Joel Bitonio.

7:19 PM: The Cowboys took DE Demarcus Lawrence at No. 34. The Browns are now on the clock.

7:15 PM: Inter-division trade: the Redskins are out, and the Cowboys are in at No. 34.

7:13 PM: One of our top wishlist prospects for Cleveland is off the board: OG Xavier Su'a-Filo goes to the Texans. The Redskins are up now at No. 34, and then Cleveland will be on the clock after that.

7:05 PM: The Houston Texans are now on the clock at No. 33 overall. We'll see if they were able to get a team to do a trade or not. Remember, teams only have seven minutes per pick in round two.

6:57 PM: The second round is about to start. We'll try to keep things focused on the draft in this thread. Remember that our WR Josh Gordon thread is here. Given the Gordon news, it would seem like wide receiver becomes even more of a priority with this pick, whether it be WR Marqise Lee or WR Allen Robinson.

6:52 PM: Yeah...it's not sound too good, folks:

6:40 PM: These tweets sum up our pre-draft Day 2 feeling pretty well:

6:35 PM: If Gordon is facing a suspension, the Browns would have known about it when they bypassed on WR Sammy Watkins:

6:30 PM: It'll be hard to focus on the draft tonight with this story lingering out there. Talk about it on Dawgs By Nature in Jon Stinchcomb's post about it here: WR Josh Gordon facing year-long suspension.

6:20 PM: Wow, I just caught wind of all of the reports on Twitter that Browns WR Josh Gordon is facing a season-long suspension for failing a drug test...

6:10 PM: As a reminder to everybody, here is our cumulative big board for the Cleveland Browns as we head into the second round of the draft. The Browns have No. 35 (2nd round) and No. 71 (3rd round).
