A couple of weeks ago, we asked which name on the Cleveland Browns people would have the most difficulty spelling. We have a new candidate for the top of that list with the team claiming TE Emmanuel Ogbuehi from the Miami Dolphins on Wednesday, following the conclusion of the team's three-day minicamp.
Ogbuehi (6-2, 230 lbs) played tight end at Georgia State and went undrafted in 2013. He signed as an undrafted free agent with the Washington Redskins, meaning offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan has some familiarity with him. Ogbuehi did not make the final cut for Washington, and in December 2013, he was signed to the Dolphins' practice squad. Prior to being waived by Miami on Tuesday, The Phinsider says that Ogbuehi "appeared to being used primarily as a fullback in early offseason workouts."
The Browns' roster is officially at 90 players now. We'll see if Ogbuehi competes for a spot at tight end, or the more open position of fullback.
