And then there was one.
On Sunday, the Cleveland Browns announced that they have signed rookie OG Joel Bitonio. Taken in the 2nd round at No. 35 overall, Bitonio agreed to a four-year deal. According to OverTheCap's pre-determined draft chart, Bitonio's contract will be worth about $5.462 million, with a $2.292 million signing bonus.
This offseason, Bitonio has been primarily working at left guard with the first-team offense, sandwiched between left tackle Joe Thomas and center Alex Mack, two of the best offensive linemen in the NFL. Bitonio suffered an ankle injury a couple of weeks ago, but the team is hopeful that he'll be ready-to-go for the start of training camp. Bitonio has received a lot of praise from the offensive coaching staff for being a rookie.
As of this post, the only unsigned draft pick for the Browns is their first pick, CB Justin Gilbert. There is no doubt that the team will reach a deal with him before the start of training camp.
