There will never be a dull moment in Johnny Manziel's offseason. While all of the other rookies on the Cleveland Browns will be out of the spotlight, it sounds like Manziel and the marketing agency representing him, led by Maverick Carter, will be marketing the rookie quarterback as much as possible.
Manziel worked on a commercial on Sunday for Bernie Moreno, owner of Collection Auto Group, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Plain Dealer. The commercial will feature Manziel completing a pass to a silver Nissan Altima (upon hearing that, I'm sure former Browns trick shot quarterback Alex Tanney exclaimed, 'what the hell, I could have done that!) Filming took place at Collinwood High School.
Per Cabot, "Manziel will do a few other marketing deals for Carter during his six weeks off and also spend time back home in Texas before returning to Cleveland for the start of training camp July 26th."
