When you see No. 11 returning punts this season, don't do a double take -- it will just be WR Travis Benjamin back there with a new jersey number. Entering his third season in the NFL, the former fourth-round draft pick is switching from No. 80 to No. 11, according to the Browns' PR department.
.@Browns number news: WR @TravisBenjamin3 will now be No. 11 & WR Charles Johnson will be No. 80

Although Johnson was assigned No. 11 in 2013, he never appeared in a regular season game with the Browns, having spent three weeks on the gameday inactive list before being placed on injured reserve with a torn ACL. Prior to Johnson, WR Mohamed Massaquoi held No. 11 from 2009 to 2012. Benjamin wore No. 80 and No. 3 at the University of Miami, so it's unclear why he wanted to change numbers (assuming that it wasn't Johnson who wanted to switch).
