Cleveland Browns RB Ben Tate delivered the ceremonial first pitch Tuesday night at Progressive Field, just prior to the start of the Red Sox vs. Indians game. Tate gave away tickets to 44 fans on Twitter over the past two days. Just before delivering the first pitch, he offered this take on Twitter:
They setting me up for failure I can't warm up get a practice this isn't good smh guess I can't bring the heat..make it over the plate

While he didn't have the greatest form, when he stepped out to the mount, Tate delivered a strike with decent velocity. On Wednesday, it will be CB Justin Gilbert's and QB Johnny Manziel's time to show whether they can deliver a strike or not. When Tate got up to his seat in the bleachers, fans serenaded him with a, "Here we go, Brownies, here we go, woof, woof!" chant.
