Here we go again!

At 4:00 PM ET today, the United States will take on Belgium in the Round of 16. In the 2010 World Cup, the United States made it to this point of the tournament, but surrendered an early goal in overtime to fall to Ghana by a score of 2-1. We've already seen three games go to overtime in this year's Round of 16, but you really hope the United States can not only win, but win in regulation.

One of the biggest decisions for the United States today will be if Jozy Altidore plays, and if so, how much playing time he receives. Altidore was cleared by medical officials for today's game after recovering from a hamstring injury a couple of weeks ago against Ghana. Altidore would give the United States a scoring threat they could desperately use against a Belgium defense that only surrendered one goal in the group stages -- tied for the best mark at the World Cup.

The United States lost to Belgium last year at FirstEnergy Stadium in a friendly match by a score of 4-2. I don't think we can use that as a full barometer of what to expect in today's game, but these two teams do know each other.

SB Nation has a preview of the game here. Browns fans, use this as your open thread to discuss the game.
