Browns LT Joe Thomas Ranked No. 18 on the NFL's Top 100 List

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Congratulations to Cleveland Browns left tackle Joe Thomas, who was ranked at No. 18 on the list of the NFL's Top 100 Players of 2014. I'm pleasantly surprised that Thomas actually received the respect that he deserves in these rankings. Considering there are more "flashy" positions in the NFL, an offensive lineman getting into the top 20 is pretty darn impressive. In 2013, Thomas was ranked ten spots lower at No. 28 overall.

A first-round pick in 2007, Thomas is entering his eighth season with the Browns. He has started every game and has not missed a single snap in the regular season during that stretch. How is that even humanly possibly? I think I just answered my own question. Thomas is signed with the club through the 2018 season, and one would have to believe that he'll finish out his career with Cleveland (hopefully with a couple of playoff victories by then).

Thomas' video features testimonials from C Eric Wood (Bills), OT David Diehl (Giants), C Nick Mangold (Jets), DE Muhammad Wilkerson (Jets), OG Kyle Long (Bears), and WR Josh Gordon.

Browns CB Joe Haden was previously ranked No. 39 on this year's list. WR Josh Gordon actually comes in a little higher than Thomas at No. 16 overall.
