Cleveland Browns' OG Jason Pinkston often speaks his mind freely on Twitter, more so than other players on the team. His latest take involves the team's starting quarterback situation. Earlier today, head coach Mike Pettine spoke with some members of the media. He told Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal that he'd like to name the starting quarterback before the team's third preseason game. In response to a fan asking, "Any doubt it's Hoyer?" on Twitter, Jason Pinkston decided to give his unsolicited response:
@RyInCBus nope

That would seem to speak volumes about Pinkston throwing his support toward Brian Hoyer. The offensive line is typically a tight-knit unit (well, maybe not in Miami), so if Pinkston feels that way, I'm sure some of his teammates do too entering the season. I don't view it as the players having disdain toward Johnny Manziel at all, though -- I think it's just more evidence that the full expectation heading into camp is that the 2014 Browns are confident with Hoyer being the man to lead them under center.
