Browns Sign Another Veteran WR in Marlon Moore

Following stints with the Dolphins and 49ers, Moore became a Cleveland Brown on Monday.

Browns fans have another name and face to learn among the wide receiving corps.

On Monday evening, the Browns brought aboard Marlon Moore, adding depth at wide receiver as training camp rolls onward.

A four-year veteran, Moore has spent most of his career with the Dolphins, but played six games for the 49ers last season. The Fresno State product has appeared in 43 NFL games, recording 19 catches for 306 yards and two touchdowns.

Standing at 6'0, 190 pounds, Moore is not a freak of nature athlete, but he can make a nice grab on occasion, as he did on this play in October 2012.

The only downside to signing Moore is that he will be unavailable for the first game of the season. As Howard Balzer of The Sports Xchange first reported in May, Moore will serve a one-game suspension for an unspecified reason at the beginning of the season.

Tony Grossi of ESPN Cleveland and Pro Football Talk both reported the suspension today, too.

Moore ups the total wide receiver count to 13, and brings the Browns roster to 87.
