Cleveland Browns Sign OG Ryan Lee

The Cleveland Browns announced the signing of OG Ryan Lee on Wednesday. Lee signed as an undrafted free agent with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2012. He began the season on the practice squad, but after the Steelers released him toward the end of the season, the New Orleans Saints added him to their practice squad. Lee spent camp with the St. Louis Rams in 2013, but did not catch on with anybody after that.

An offensive tackle at Furman, Lee also played baseball during his collegiate career. He is listed at 6-3, 290 lbs. and could get some work at offensive guard with the third-string units over the next couple of weeks. The Browns now have a whopping 17 offensive linemen on their roster, but two of them are on the non-football injury list (Nick McDonald and John Greco) while another, Jason Pinkston, isn't medically cleared to practice. That drops the Browns down to 14 offensive linemen.
